Is there any financial assistance available to help with the costs of National Board Certification Candidacy?
In General Session 2016, the Utah Legislature passed HB331, which provides financial provisions for teachers who achieve or renew National Board Certification. These provision are available after certification has been awarded. More information can be found at the Utah Board of Education Department of Teaching and Learning Licensing.

What kind of support is available?
If your school or district doesn't have a support structure in place for you as a National Board candidate, please contact UNBC. We'll provide you with a mentor to support you along the journey. Professional development workshops may also be available to help you deepen your analytical and reflective thinking, unpack the National Board Portfolio entries, and collaborate for increased student learning.
